I've been playing around with this feature and came up with 2 implementations. I posted the preview for both of them on my X and Threads profiles - take a look and let me know which one you prefer!

Because of much too small VolumeBar in the DesktopApp of Spotify this would be highly appreciated! Maybe via "Swipe when Mouse over notch"?

Thanks for the suggestion - as I mentioned in another post, I’m aiming to keep the notch as close to the Dynamic Island as possible. I’ll definitely consider how to incorporate this in a smooth way if it fits.

The right one seems to be much better (as mentioned before: look in Tuneful and user expereince).
Maybe its possible to adjust the volume by 2-finger swipe on trackpad when pointer is over tuneful area? Another solution that saves space is like the old iOS app "car tunes music player" where a long tap triggers volume control on phone (sorry, can't find screenshots - app ist no longer available). After that it was possible to slide the finger u an down for adjusting volume. Feedback was the whole app background that was coloured in the hight of  the volume level. so there was no need of a extra volume slider (just an idea for keeping tuneful small and close to notch.
